Integration step-by-step

1. Install x4trace. Free to use for up to 6 months.
2. ERP Communication (optional) is needed. x4Trace works with or without ERP.
3. Adjust x4trace to your production.
4. Test your production with x4trace.
5. Create your statistic.
6. You are ready to use.

The install

You can start and try the integration without purchase. The trial period is usually one month, but you can request a longer period. To download the x4trace, you must register on the administration site and request a license, but you needn’t purchase. “License activation is needed!”  Read about installation.

ERP Communication

This is an optional task on your integration list. ERP systems have an API that can be connected to x4Trace.Read about ERP communication.

Adjust x4trace to your production
Lines

x4Trace can provide information to the PLCs and collect tracing data from them. You don’t need to buy an OPS server. x4Trace has a built-in S7 driver. You have to set the addresses of the variables of the DBs. If you have a special line or a special device, you can write any driver for x4Trace in the shop.

Workers (terminals)

You have to buy and install terminals in the shop. Every terminal needs a network connection. You can make a terminal from a PC or RPI. RPI is a very economical solution. If you combine the line with the terminal, you can see the production data on the terminal. Read about terminals.

Modules

x4Trace has some built-in line modules that cover many types of production. But if you need a special function, you can extend its features.Read about line modules.

Test your production

Please make a product flow and execute it with your shop. Important: First, test only a product with the necessary lines.
