Downtime

You can start downtime in x4Trace.
The downtime can also be short or long. For example, it can last from 1 second to more weeks.
This is good for recording a lot of micro downtimes because if you have five seconds of downtime, which is not too much, it seems that it should not be recorded. But what if you have 1000 micro downtimes in a day? That is about 83 minutes in a day without production, and this information is hidden from you. Therefore, x4Trace can store all of the downtime for you to make a good decision.

How can a downtime start?

Start from the order: Downtime covers all the tasks of an operation or more operations. This is a high level of downtime, like maintenance, comprehensive error, or raw material shortage.
Trace production.
Start from task manager: Locally, the leader starts the downtime. This covers some operations processes with an organization’s or an operator’s technical problems.

Start from the terminal: The operator starts the downtime. For example, a tool is missing, or the line needs a tool change.
Downtime.
Start from the line: The line’s PLC starts the downtime. For example, human intervention is required if an e-stop is pressed or a part is stuck.
